The Best Bath & Body Works Holiday Scents

Bath & Body Works is the king of all fragrant things. Their body lotions are smooth and buttery, the sprays keep me smelling great all day long, and best of all their candles rock my world. They burn slow and smell heavenly, I couldn’t not talk about some of my favs during this time of year!

The scent Evergreen by B&BW’s partnered brand, White Barn, is the epitome of what the holiday season should smell like. There’s a sweet undertone to this candle but resembles closest to fresh pine trees. I love burning this after tidying up my house! Makes everything smell so clean!

This spicy scent has become my favorite very quickly. It smells like I’m baking gingerbread or something festive in the kitchen without having that doughy smell. I can’t stand candles that are too similar to cupcakes, cake, or cookies. This is just enough and not too much.

Vanilla and pear was a combination I never thought I’d love but let me tell you, this one is amazing. You’d figure the pear would make this candle come off extremely sweet-smelling but the vanilla and cinnamon touches calm that down a bit. Oh, and not to mention this packaging…how cute!

If you’re into a more traditional smell try the straight Balsam candle. You’ll be transported from your living room to a forest. Love, love, love the smell of trees! Does that sound weird?!

Have a new favorite that I didn’t mention?! Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear what you all think are perfect additions for the season. Always looking for extras that will make my house smell good!

See you in my next post!

It’s after Thanksgiving which makes this gift guide totally appropriate. I’ve had my lists ready since November 1st but I know everyone’s not as excited or prepared as I might be. Decorating The Tree 2017

The most wonderful time of the year is upon us and you shouldn’t be surprised that I’m putting this post up early! Christmas is my holiday, winter is my season, and decorating the house (any chance I get) is what I’m excellent at! All this holly jolly has made me eager to share what my tree looks like and what theme I decided to go with – sparkles, silvers, and golds!

Here are just a few of my sentimental or unique ornaments I’ve always been fond of throughout the years!

The infamous lucky pickle. If you don’t have one of these on your tree, are you even doing Christmas right?! I’m not sure where this tradition stemmed from but I’ve had a pickle on all of the trees I’ve ever owned. If you’re looking for one, the dollar store typically has them for super inexpensive!

My “to the lodge” ornament is definitely special because it was one of the first ornaments I purchased after my husband and I moved into our first home! We don’t live in a lodge or anything similar for that matter; it just fits our rustic deco style SO well! Pretty sure I picked this guy up from Target for a few bucks!

The hubby is a giant Packers fan so it’s no surprise this is tucked in our tree branches. I can live with a little green and yellow considering the rest of the tree is trimmed to my liking + to be honest, football is growing on me!

I’m positive many of you have at least one of these snowmen on your own tree. Aren’t they just the cutest?!

There’s an abundance of fishing ornaments on the tree. I’m not a fisherman but…the husband is and marriage is all about compromise. Am I right?! Although I had an overwhelming and exact theme this year, I think it’s important to incorporate memories from past Christmas’s.

What’s your favorite thing about the Holidays?! Do you celebrate Christmas or something different?! I wanna know in the comments below what your traditions and favorites are during this fun time of year!

See you in my next post!
